“Welcome! I am Cindy Dafashy, and I opened Archway Family Medicine as a commitment to restore the patient-physician relationship. During my training, it had become painfully obvious to me that the current system was a nightmare for patients and doctors alike.

I was being told to limit my patient visits to 1-2 concerns. My treatment plans were being directed by what insurance companies wanted, not what was best for the human being sitting in front of me. And my patients were suffering.

This is when I vowed to stand up for my patients. This looked like:

• Clear pricing before my patient received any medication, lab or service

• Spending time teaching my patients about their diagnoses and treatments in detail

• Gathering community resources to support my patients in whatever stage of their healthcare journey they’re in

• Welcoming each patient like family
